Austin Samaritans is seeking board members to help us expand the services we provide and promote community awareness about our mission.

Our ideal board member will possess the following characteristics:

• Committed to the vision of Austin Samaritans 

• Strategic-thinking and results oriented

• Strong personal integrity and professionalism

• Resourceful   

Length of term:

Board members serve an initial term of two years, which can be extended.

General expectations of board members:

• Actively support the mission of Austin Samaritans

• Help communicate and promote Austin Samaritans ministries 

• Support fundraising events and activities

• Consider participating in mission trips 

• Participate in ten board meetings annually

• Assist in the development of strategic plans

• Support sound fiscal management

• Recruit volunteers
