Ann Coplen-Harold Board Member

Ann Chase Coplen-Harold went on a mission trip in 2025 with Austin Samaritans and was deeply moved by the need in Managua, Nicaragua. She joined the Austin Samaritans Board in 2026.  

Ann enjoyed a 30-year career as an experienced interior designer leading her own design business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Missouri and earned both her Master of Business Administration and an Interior Design Certification from the University of Houston. Ann has taught interior design, drawing, and business courses at the University of Houston and the Boston Architectural College. 

She has a strong passion for service and has been a dedicated community volunteer for many years. Her volunteer activities have included support for local schools and her church. Currently, she serves as the treasurer for her local P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), Chapter CR, and volunteers as a mentor with Academy 4 at Padron Elementary School.
