at Colegio Cristiano Presbiteriano (CCP)
Crucial to the continued success of Colegio Cristiano Presbiteriano, a Christian school located in Managua, Nicaragua, and one of Austin Samaritans’ mission associates, is the student sponsorship program.
Very few of the students can afford to pay a tuition rate that would entirely support the operation of the school. Therefore, Austin Samaritans operates a sponsorship program for children attending Colegio Cristiano Presbiteriano. This program not only provides a significant portion of the funding needed to operate the school, but also provides the sponsors an opportunity to develop a personal relationship and offer individual encouragement to students at the school.
Sponsors can develop a relationship of love and support by sending letters and pictures of themselves, their families, pets, work, etc. The letters are hand-carried to the children when Austin Samaritans takes a mission trip in April and October. Even better is for a sponsor to participate in an Austin Samaritans mission trip and have the opportunity to meet and hug their child!
Sponsors enjoy receiving photographs and updated information about their child annually in the spring. A special gift is the handmade card and personal message students send to their sponsors at Christmas.
The suggested level of support is $40 per month. This can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. We are always willing to work with you to customize your sponsorship arrangements to fit your situation.

Based on your preferences indicated on the form, you will be sent several profiles of children from which to select the child you will sponsor. Once your child is selected and your first payment made, you will be officially registered as a sponsor. You will receive notifications of our next mission trip, so you can prepare correspondence/pictures to get to our office for delivery on the trip.
